About us
Women’s Hands Association and Support–Texas (WHAS-TEX) is a nonprofit organization serving the community in various ways. Our dedicated volunteers spend time feeding the homeless located in shelters and distributing aid to all those affected by disasters and calamities globally. WHAS-TEX has a strong commitment to supporting all women in the State of Texas, aside from extending help globally to various charities, missionaries, non-denominational religious organizations, and schools. WHAS-TEX funding depends on donations, fundraising events, and sponsorships.
Since our establishment in July 2025, WHAS-TEX has grown from providing support to senior centers, hosting dance events for people with disabilities, feeding the homeless, holding in-house gatherings with members, distributing aid to those affected by earthquakes and typhoons in the Philippines, and sending aid to supply food for hungry children globally. We offer a broad range of services, promoting dignity, hope, and love. WHAS-TEX has developed strong relationships with vulnerable women in the community and uniquely empowers women toward long-term stability and self-reliance. We recognize women’s worth where they are and determine what will best create their path to success with a compassionate approach rooted in Christian values, uniquely empowering these women toward long-term stability with strongholds and faith. These successful women then share their compassionate services with all individuals in need.
